1 HNO/HRP 2019 - 2018 Protection Cluster Objectives:
affected by conflict: 4,4 mln people in need: 3,5 mln people in need of protection support: 3,3 mln. along the Contact Line – 2,7 mln Luhansk and Donetsk (both GCA/NGCA) oblasts – 0,8 mln * preliminary data as to Aug 2018 - 2018 Protection Cluster Objectives: Strengthen protection for people of concern, including prevention and mitigation of rights’ violations. People of concern benefit from full and non- discriminatory access to quality essential services and enjoyment of their rights, with particular attention to the most vulnerable. Improve social cohesion and resilience of conflict-affected people; support people of concern in identifying durable solutions.

5 GBV Sub-Cluster Response Priorities – 2019
Strengthened capacity of state/non-state service providers to respond to and prevent GBV in a coordinated, inter- sectoral format based on survivors based approach. Survivors of violence/those at risk provided with access to continuous psychosocial assistance, "safe spaces“ and other durable solutions Multiagency and multisectorial response to GBV strengthened with full involvement of governmental / municipal counterparts Life-saving information on access to services needs systematically shared with affected population. This includes information on health, psychosocial and legal services for GBV survivors. The conflict-affected population prioritized for livelihood activities to counter possible harmful coping practices
