FURMANITE’S HISTORY & EXPERTISE
Since 1929, Furmanite has maintained its leadership role in the research and development of on-site repair and maintenance 2006, Furmanite purchases the General Services Group (GSG) of Flowserve Furmanite is the single most authoritative source for all of your global industrial services needs Clay Furman was founder with idea for a repair kit for the ship industry, started in Baltimore. Original kit was targeted to fix leak under pressure. In the 1930’s the kits were marketed in the UK In the 1960’s the kits re-introduced in the US. Furmanite was the 1st Leak Sealing Company in the US. For 75 years Furmanite has been considered the worldwide innovator and leader in not only development of engineered solutions, but also comprehensive on-site and on-line maintenance.

SELF LEVELING MACHINE (SLM)
Acquired February 2011 SLM specializes in machining very large circular and irregular shaped surfaces on structural components There is virtually no size limit because our milling cutters are controlled by a scanning laser plane and are independent of any deflections which might occur in the portable machine frame This allows large structures to be machined in a single set up with tolerances similar to those achieved on major workshop machines Our equipment is readily portable and we cover the world for large size, on site machining Speaking Points: Silk machines are either pneumatically or hydraulically powered, and are robust, modular - for ease of assembly and manhandling, simple to operate and designed to exceed the latest design and safety standards.

THE TREVITEST SOLUTION
Trevitest™ Diagnostic Recorder Features Developed and patented worldwide by Furmanite to test safety and relief valves in place and online Accurately tests valves 1” and larger on-line and under normal operating pressure and temperature No operational interruptions Valve can be tested remotely for safety purposes State of the art technology measures force, pressure, lift or displacement and sound via acoustic detection PC based system with data and document storage capability, using proprietary software Permanent graphical record for customer Speaking Points: Emphasize that Furmanite engineered the Trevitest Diagnostic which is now seen as the industry benchmark in line testing of safety/safety relief valves while under pressure. Trevitest is unique from other diagnostic recorders due to its capability to measure several types of phenomena when a user is testing most steam, vapor and liquid safety and safety relief valves. The Trevitest has the ability to measure a valve’s spindle deflection (lift potentiometer) or valve discharge (acoustic detection), as well as inlet pressure (pressure transducer). This is in addition to measuring the spring relaxation force (load cell) that has been available with previous versions. Specifics to mention: Accurately tests valves 1” and larger on-line and under normal operating pressure and temperature No operational interruptions Valve can be tested remotely for safety purposes PC based system with data and document storage capability, using proprietary software Permanent graphical record for customer
