8. Id, Ego, Super-ego
According to a very famous psychologist by the name of Sigmund Freud, the human psyche (or mind) is broken up into 3 sections:
1. Id
2. Ego
3. Super-ego

9. If you answered a lot of questions with #1…
The super-ego is categorized as the part of the psyche that is moral. It’s our conscience. The super-ego is that part of you that convinces you to:
Follow the rules
Listen to your parents
Tell the truth
Be a Gallant, not a Goofus.

10. If you answered a lot of questions with #2…
The ego is the part of us that attempts to mediate between good and bad choices It attempts to find a compromise between good and bad. After all, we can’t be perfect or evil 100% of the time.

11. If you answered a lot of questions with #3…
… then you are just terrible. But, I know that none of you are 100% made up of the id, which is the part of us that is not so good. The id is responsible for making selfish, impulsive, destructive decisions such as, but not limited to:
Kicking a puppy
Failing to return your shopping cart to the return area
Not using your turn signals when driving
Lying, cheating, stealing, etc.
