1 person will play the melody 1 person will play the chords
You will use a rhythm as your backing track

6. Lyrics
You are going to write your own Blues Lyrics. Each verse is 3 lines long.
The 1st and 2nd lines are the same, and the 3rd rhymes with them.
Then put your words together with the chords on your workcard – you are then singing the blues!!

8. Compositions
Using the Blues Scale and the 12 Bar Blues chords you will compose a piece of Blues music.
You will follow this structure:
Introduction (12 bar Blues chords only)
Verse (12 Bar Blues Chords plus melody using the notes of the blues scale)
Chorus (12 Bar Blues Chords plus a different melody using the notes of the blues scale)
Verse
Chorus
Ending (12 Bar Blues chords only)

9. Compositions
Your compositions must include: Melody (yours); Chords (12 Bar Blues, P2); Accompaniment (rhythm 45, 50’s Rock).
