Instructions
Draw a circle. Do not change the compass radius.
Pick any point on the circle as a centre-point, and draw another circle, the same size.
Where this circle crosses the original circle, use these points as centres for new circles.
Continue until the circle is surrounded by 6 other circles.
Draw 3 lines, going between the opposite crossing points of your 6 outer circles, passing through the centre of the middle circle.
Wherever a line or circle crosses the original circle, mark a point. These are the 12 points for your overlapping squares.
