4 One Arrow into Large Circle Means You Can’t Lose Your Salvation
(John 10:28-29; Eph 1:13-14)

5 John 10:28-29 “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.”

6 Ephesians 1:13-14 “And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.”

7 Two Arrows into Smaller Circle means You Can Choose to Reject to Abide in Christ and be Filled with the Spirit (Eph 4:30; 1 Thes 5:19)

8 Ephesians 4:30 “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”

9 “Do not quench the Spirit.”
1 Thessalonians 5:19 “Do not quench the Spirit.”

10 ENTERING The Promised Land

11 Why can’t flesh please God?
Pleasing God Numbers 14:8 “If the LORD is pleased with us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us – a land which flows with milk and honey.” Romans 8:8 “Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” Why can’t flesh please God? Romans 7:18 “For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not”

12 God’s Love is Unconditional, But God’s Pleasure Is Conditional

13 God’s Love is Unconditional, Because God IS Love

14 “The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
1 John 4:8 “The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”

15 God’s Pleasure is Conditional Because God is Holy

16 God is Holy Lev. 11:44-45 “'For I am the LORD your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy…...  For I am the LORD who brought you up from the land of Egypt to be your God; thus you shall be holy, for I am holy.'"

17 I. Egypt II. Desert Out Promised Land Deuteronomy 6:23
“He brought us out from there in order to bring us in, to give us the land which He had sworn to our fathers.” In

20 I. Egypt Please God and Enter Displease God and Exit Desert of Water & Manna III. Promised Land of Milk and Honey Please God Numbers 14:8 Displease God Romans 8:8

21 I. Egypt Red Sea II. Desert Water & Manna of Living in the Flesh
III. Promised Land Milk & Honey of Living In the Spirit II. Desert Red Sea Water & Manna of Living in the Flesh Jordan River

22 Red Sea Red Sea is about 1,400 miles long with a width of about 100 miles. The depth can range between 426 feet (at the exit of the sea to the Indian Ocean) to 7,200 fathoms (towards the middle of the sea).

23 Red Sea The Red Sea is symbolic of God’s love. The Red Sea, like God’s love, is so wide and so deep, that man can never cross back over it. A child of God can never do anything to cross back over the Red Sea into Egypt with the unsaved (that is, back into death).

24 Red Sea To allow man to cross back over or to force him back over the Red Sea would violate God’s very nature, because God is love, it would make God a liar; a hypocrite.

25 Jordan River Jordan River is about 200 miles long with a width of about feet. The depth can range from 3 – 10 feet depending on where you stand.

26 Crossing the Jordan is symbolic of entering God’s most intimate presence: when we are abiding in Christ and thus filled with the Spirit. In most cases, it takes a crisis, when our life reaches flood stage, for us to cry out to God in desperation and surrender. Generally, it is only at the crisis of the flood stage when will we surrender to the point that Jesus can enable us to cross the Jordan.

27 Unlike the vast Red Sea, the Jordan River CAN be crossed back over by man if man so chooses. God gave us a shallow, narrow, physical Jordan River, which man is able to choose to cross back over in order to show us that in our spiritual life we may choose to go our own way, and out of God’s intimate presence.

28 Jordan River To allow man to sin and still remain in His intimate presence would violate God’s very nature, because God is Holy. It would make God a liar; a hypocrite.

31 ENTERING The Tabernacle

32 More Perfect Tabernacle
Hebrews 9:11,12 More Perfect Tabernacle “When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation.”

33 True Tabernacle Hebrews 8:1,2
“The point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man.”

34 Inner Sanctuary Hebrews 6:19,20
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”

35 Most Holy Place Hebrews 10:19-22
“Therefore, brothers, since WE have confidence to ENTER the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.”

36 I. Outer Court You are a Temple of God (1 Cor 3:16) II. Inner Court Curtain/Veil - Most Holy Place - Holy of Holies - True Tabernacle - Inner Sanctuary

37 1 Corinthians 3:16 “Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?”
