2. Transporter Initiated Confirmations
As a result of the implementation of Modifications enabling Transporters to register sites on behalf of Users, Xoserve are assessing solution options to confirm sites into Shipper Portfolios.
Xoserve are conducting analysis on these modifications – but propose discussion points are considered by UK Link Committee

3. Transporter Initiated Confirmations
The Transporter Agency may register supply points on behalf of a User after a period of notification where the User has not initiated a supply point confirmation in line with the requirements of the Modification.
This may be the registration of the site using historical data or new data items dependant on the requirements.
It is anticipated that existing SPA file formats will be used.

4. Transporter Initiated Confirmations
Xoserve are still assessing the solution options and wish to consult with UK Link Committee regarding Impact to User systems.
Impacts to Users include the receipt of unsolicited files (e.g. SPA files of NMR/NRF,CFR and TRF; Other files – e.g. MRI)
Duplicate file sequence numbers being utilised – multiple options exist
Re population of historic supply point data may no longer be applicable to sites and this may lead to issues with loads and associated obligations.

5. Other Challenges – UNC Modification 424
Other data items may need to be updated as part of the activity
Modification 424 requires asset data be attached
Subsequent Modifications may require additional data items be updated
Charges will be recovered from Shippers as a result of 424
