Hypo-sensitive Under-sensitivity – to sensory things.
Hyper-sensitive Over-sensitivity - to sensory things. Sensory Our bodies can be hypo- or hyper sensitive to sensitivities sounds/smells/taste/vision.

Tactile integration: Touch/pain Hyper- or hypo sensitivity to touch or pain. Pressure Finding pressure of heavy weights relaxing or we need a light pressure. Temperature Temperatures can confuse our bodies meaning that they have very little effect on us or a dramatic impact. Texture Different materials can cause us discomfort, pain or give satisfaction.

Proprioceptive system
Body awareness Our bodies ability to sense how to move and awareness of the positions of our body parts in relation to ourselves and our surroundings.

Vestibular system Body position/ Being able to keep our posture, balance and balance awareness of our heads and bodies position in space. Sensory avoidance Physical activities that we find difficult to cope with. Sensory stimulation Physical actions that are satisfying.

Interoception Being able to recognise our bodies internal signals.
Sensory One sensory triggers another sense. We taste something synaesthesia and see a colour or hear a noise and feel a texture.
