Who should take AP Lang?
     Students who wish to improve their critical reading and writing skills and work at the college level.  Students who were successful in Honors English 10 (grade of B or above) and students who are motivated to analyze short pieces of non-fiction and write about and discuss them in a mature, intelligent way.  Students coming from English 10 should have a conversation with their English teacher about the class. 
2. Work required for AP Lang?
Most work done in class.  Some reading and outside research required outside of class.

Who should take AP US History?  Academically serious students who have a genuine interest in history and who are self-motivated to complete homework outside of class time. Work required for AP US History?  Approximately one hour of homework per class meeting
