1 The Bible and Works “We believe that works of any kind are not at all even involved in man’s salvation from sin. Works, though, can determine the degree of one’s reward. Salvation is wholly of grace, resting only on Jesus’ death and his perfect works….Works are absent in the salvation of the individual….” Introduction: The quote on slide one is a composite from just about all denominationalists. This theology involves many serious problems. If the quote is correct, then why are all men unconditionally saved and how can God unconditionally save some while arbitrarily condemning others without being a respecter of persons? (Acts 10: 34, 35).

2 The Bible and Works Some scriptures to consider:
Romans. 4: James 2: 14-26 Romans 11: Romans 2: 6-9 Acts 10: Acts 2: 38 Titus 3: Titus 3: 5 Comments: The scriptures on the left are used in an effort to prove “works” are excluded; while the scriptures on the right are introduced to prove “works” are included. Explain and harmonize these two classes.
