1. Instructions for making a felt dog.
Cut out the pattern pieces on this page.
​Place the pieces on the felt and draw around them, or pin them to the felt, then cut out the pieces.
Starting at one side of the belly blanket stitch around the dog, stuffing his legs, tail and head as you go.
Stuff the belly, and complete the stitching to close the dog.
Stitch the ears onto the side of the dog.
Using the black or brown thread, stitch a nose and two french knot eyes.
Blanket stitch around the coat and sew the front together.
Put the coat over the dogs head
Enjoy your new pet!

Materials Included:
Pattern pieces and instructions
Two pieces of Felt, one for the dog colour and one for the jacket.
Three pieces of thread, for the dog, jacket and eyes.
Materials needed (not included)
Marker pen, or similar to draw the pattern onto the felt.
Needle, needs to be slightly sharp, but with a hole big enough for the thick thread, embroidery needles are great.
Toy stuffing
Scissors – to cut out the felt pieces
You might also want some card to glue the pattern pieces onto, it will make the pattern last longer.
