2 Open the application – double-click on the Instructional Interventions Program for the WMLS-R Normative Update. Select “Create a new database.” Click “Ok”.

3 3. Type in the “File Name”. Example “Anissa Aldana_01072010”
3. Type in the “File Name”. Example “Anissa Aldana_ ”. (Student name_date of testing) 4. Click “Save”.

4 5. Click on “New”. Now, you can type in the “Student Information”
5. Click on “New”. Now, you can type in the “Student Information”. The Group ID is an option. 6. Click on “Save”. 7. Click on “Add Record” and select the appropriate test you have administered to the student.

5 8. Complete the “Identifying Information” then enter the “Test Scores”.
9. Complete the “Language Exposure Information”, Language Use Questionnaire”, and “Test Session Observations” sections.

6 10. Save by clicking on the blue disc

7 11. Save by selecting “Test Record” from the menu bar and scrolling down and selecting “Save Test Record”. (This is one way to save your student record.)

8 12. Click on the green circle with the arrow
12. Click on the green circle with the arrow. This will save the record and return you to the subject (student) information screen.

9 13. Select “Reports” from the menu bar
13. Select “Reports” from the menu bar. Scroll down to select “Comprehensive Report” or the “Parent Report”. (Please take note of the other reports that are available under the “Report” tab.)

10 14. Select “CALP Abbreviations”
14. Select “CALP Abbreviations”. Select “Age” for all PreK students, students not yet enrolled in kindergarten. Select “Grade” for students in K-12. 15. Click on “Next”.

11 15. To include all interventions, click on “Select All”

12 16. You may preview the report first by selecting “Preview”
16. You may preview the report first by selecting “Preview”. To print, click on “Print”. You may save this report to a folder by selecting “Send to File”. This will allow you organize your reports as you deem it necessary.
