This will increase Basin Groundwater Overdraft by 13% to 181,226 acre feet per year
And result in Urban Area comprising 27% of basin overdraft and
8,201 acre feet per year Above stated “Firm Yield” of Urban Area groundwater

9. Declining Groundwater Elevations
Morada Well Elevations are Currently Declining by approximately 1.4 ft per year
Stockton’s Existing Water Service Commitments would cause Morada wells to decline by 1.6 feet per year
This represents a total overdraft of 181,226 acre feet per year out of a total storage of 1.5 M acre feet or 8 years of storage

16. Eastern San Joaquin Groundwater Basin Groundwater Management Plan Objectives
Maintain or enhance groundwater elevations to meet the long-term needs of groundwater users within the Groundwater Management Area
