Among high school students, 44% of girls and 15% of guys are attempting to lose weight. According to the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, the body type portrayed in advertising as the ideal is possessed naturally by only 5% of American females. Create a high self-esteem collage. Use photos of people from magazines doing things that show qualities of high self- esteem, such as succeeding in school or athletics, enjoying time with friends, being confident with themselves, etc. Include a title Include at least 5 photos- explain why each photo represents high self-esteem You can use your notes to guide your ideas. School-appropriate content only. Assignments with inappropriate content will be given a 0. If you are unsure about what is and isn’t appropriate, ask Mrs. Stadelman ahead of time.
