2. Penaeid Shrimps
Penaeid shrimps are mostly omnivorous, feeding at the muddy bottom.
Their post-larvae and juveniles feed on detritus but sub-adult prawns prefer polychaetes, bivalves, gastropods, benthic copepods, ostracods, amphipods and foraminifers.
