1. International Women’s Day Assignment
Why is this a day celebrated throughout the world? What is its purpose? What is its significance, if any?
Your task is to answer these questions through reading about this day:
Read at least three distinct articles regarding this topic. Feel free to read more! (Wiki anything does not count as an article for this assignment.)
Focus on 2018
Read articles of substance, not just where events will be held.
Complete an Annotated Bibliography for each article (minimum of three). Notes to follow.
This is due Friday, March 16.

2. Type an Annotated Bibliography that reflects your research.
Your Annotated Bibliography must includes a summary and evaluation of each of the sources.
1. Double space your work.
2. Type your name in the upper right corner.
3. Center and type the title, Annotated Bibliography
4. Follow the MLA Works Cited format to indicate your sources. See Owl Purdue if in doubt as to what information to give and in what order to give it.
5. Under each source, indent and write 5-8 sentences, more if you want. What you write should provide brief summary information as well as brief commentary in which you respond to what you read. Consider what you learned about the subject through the source you found.
