2. Where is your hope? What is the foundation of your life built upon?
Is it your health?
Is it your money and possessions?
Is it your accomplishments?
Is it your relationships?
Is it your children?
Is it your righteousness?
Matthew 7:26 The storms will come, will you still have hope?

3. 1 Thessalonians 5:8-9
8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. 9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ…

4. Salvation From What?
Matthew 1:21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sin.
Sin’s Penalty. Justification
Sin’s Power. Sanctification
Sin’s Presence. Glorification

5. Assurance of Hope
John 10: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.” 1 John 5:13 13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

6. Assurance of Hope
Ephesians 1: In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. Romans 8: What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?

7. 1 John 1:2-3
Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who has this hope purifies himself as he is pure.

8. Romans 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing to the glory that is to be revealed to us.
