2 John 1:12 "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." Galatians 3:26 "You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

3 When a right is given we must exercise it or use it and not keep it.

4 John 6:37 "… Jesus said whoever come to me I will never drive away."

5 Through PRAYER we have assurance of access to God. Prayer does not bring God down to us, but brings us up to Him. Prayer is a personal response to God's presence.

6 James 5:16b tells us that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.  Prayer is a vehicle of fellowship.  Prayer is an evidence of faith or a spirit of dependence.  Prayer is also a means of focusing our hearts on the Lord, His purposes, and His care.

7 Worship Invites God's Presence God has promised in Psalm 22:3 to inhabit the praises of His people

8 Assurance of Salvation John 3:15 "that everyone who believed in Him may have eternal life."

14 Conclusion Know our Rights Are you one who simply acknowledges the existence of God? Are you one who knows the right doctrine and says all the right thing? Or are you really a child of God?
