3. RWG 2017 Misoperation Report
Expected date September 1, 2018
The RWG analyzes the misoperation data to:
Provide trend analysis of Protection System misoperations data and possible root cause identification;
Form conclusions/recommendations from the analysis to reduce the likelihood of future misoperations;
Develop guidance and best practices to industry through technical documents and webinars pertaining to protection system misoperation trends, conclusions, and recommendations;
Along with the WECC’s Performance Analysis Subcommittee publish results, to WECC’s Event and Performance Analysis Subcommittee (EPAS) and the WECC membership.

4. Misoperation Reduction Strategy
Provide technical expertise and contribute to WECC’s Performance Analysis Subcommittee for WECC’s Misoperation Reduction Strategy.
