Intercropping
Intercropping is the growing of two or more crops together at the same time in the same space in a beneficial manner.
Intercropping methods are useful for many different farms, from a backyard guardian to a large industrialized farm.

2. Row and Strip Intercropping
Row intercropping is the growing of two or more crops at the same time but at least one crop is planted in rows.
This strategy ensures maximum efficiency for using at the vacant space between rows in farmland.
Strip intercropping is the more industrialized version of row intercropping, where the only difference is that the spaces are wide enough to harvest with industrialized machinery.

3. Mixed intercropping
Mixed intercropping is the growing of two or more crops at the same time with no distinct row arrangement.
However, mixed intercropping is not random. Certain plants are grown together to maximize their production because some plants grow better together.

4. Relay intercropping takes place in the reproductive stage.
It is a system in which a second crop is planted into an existing crop when it has flowered ,before harvesting.
