10. It was initially implemented in the Sappi farm schools. To reduce the number of unwanted fires on Sappi land, in Mpumalanga. In 2005 Department of education in the Ehlanzeni Region, Working on Fire and Sappi signed an agreement to implement and grow the programme in schools. The content of the material was developed by Curriculum Implementers (CIs) of the Ehlanzeni Region, of the Department of Education.
