Imagine that you could travel to any point in time, past or future. When and where would you travel to? Would you correct any mistakes of the past or change events in history if you could? Explain your answer.

6. Chapter 3

The time traveler begins his story about traveling into the future for 8 days. He arrives in a beautiful garden with a White Sphinx there. Creatures, about 4 feet tall approach him. He attempts to communicate, but they seem uninterested.

7. Chapter 4

The time traveler wonders what happened to humans, since all that remains of them are these frail creatures. He thinks they have the intelligence of children and that they have evolved past doing hard work.

8. Chapter 5
TAKE NOTES
The time machine disappears into the sphinx. The time traveler finds wells and wonders where they lead to. He rescues a girl named Weena. He learns that the 4-feet tall creatures are called Eloi and their enemies are called Morlocks, who live underground.

Do you think that the year 802,000 is a utopia or a dystopia? Explain your answer.
