CASC Human Resources welcomes you to student employee orientation
Student employee orientation reviews your rights, responsibilities and expectations as an employee of CASC and the State Of Oklahoma. We also offer some helpful suggestions on workplace professionalism, work ethics, and general ideas to make your student employment a successful and rewarding experience.

4. ALCOHOL and DRUG FREE CAMPUS
CASC prohibits the unlawful possession, use, or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol by students and employees in buildings, facilities, or other property owned and/or controlled by the college or as part of college activities

5. TOBACCO FREE CAMPUS
CASC, is committed to maintaining a safe and secure campus and a healthy environment for its students, faculty, staff and visitors free from tobacco use. CASC’s comprehensive tobacco-free program consists of prevention, cessation and policy.
Tobacco products: includes all forms of tobacco but is not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes, vaping devices, chewing tobacco, snuff, and all other kinds and forms of tobacco prepared in such a manner to be suitable for spit tobacco use, smoking or both.

6. SEXUAL HARASSMENT
CASC is committed to providing students, employees, and visitors educational and working environments free from Sexual Harassment, both in and out of the classroom. Samples of conduct prohibited by this policy may include but not limited to:
Unwelcome sexual flirtation and/or advances or propositions for sexual activity
Verbal abuse of a sexual nature, suggestive comments and/or sexually explicit jokes
Remarks of a sexual nature to describe a person(s) body or clothing
Offensive physical contact, such as unwelcome touching, pinching, brushing the body

7. TIMESHEETS
All employees will be required to fill out an electronic timesheet. It is the responsibility of the employee to keep track and enter his/her hours correctly
By signing my timesheet, I am verifying all hours and days recorded are the accurate and exact hours worked

8. STUDENT EMPLOYEE SUCCESS
Always call your supervisor if you are going to be late or be absent for any reason
Be punctual
Discuss dress code with your supervisor
Keep inappropriate language out of the workplace
Office computers are for work, not posting status updates or surfing the web…adhere to CASC Computer Code of Conduct
Keep accurate records of your work on a daily basis
Treat staff and fellow students with respect, courtesy and tact
Ask questions if you do not understand something
Maintain confidentiality at all times

Check your CASC student for an with details on attending a workshop
Bring required documents to workshop
You CANNOT begin working until workshop has been attended and HR has sent your supervisor an approval
