1. Assignment write-up date- 21st of February
• You must complete this assignment within one hour under exam conditions.
• You will take one A4 research sheet into the write-up This will contain evidence collected during your research into the assessment and you must refer to this research evidence in your answers to Q2 and Q3 in particular.
• You will submit this research evidence along with your Assignment Report to SQA for marking.
• You should ensure that there is not too much information on your two Research Sheets as you will be very tempted to copy this into your answers. Any information that is directly copied from your Research Sheets into your answers will not be given any marks and will mean you will receive a very low mark for your Assignment.
Examples of good Research Sheets include a pie chart of survey results, interview questions (but no answers), the front cover of a book which was used, website address, a screen shot of a YouTube video and an which was sent (but not the reply).
Have a list labelled sources this should look like a bibliography!!

2. What your research sheet MUST contain:
Your hypothesis- can be directly copied
Your 3 aims- can be directly copied
A list of sources labelled 1,2,3…etc.
If it is a web source use the hyperlink and also a screen grab
If it is a video link use the hyperlink and also a screen grab
If you have a USB I can electronically transfer you the template for you to fill out.
If you have access to a computer at home you can print off screen grabs from a word document and stick these onto your research sheet
