Analyze story structure of “How You Grew” and check for comprehension of the story. We will review the skill of sequencing of events in stories.
Matching the letter/sound of F, H, G, R, and distinguish between the vowel sounds.
Students will write a sentence in our journal about growing up using descriptive words. We will proofread and write a final draft.
Students will identify addition facts with sums to 18 and the terms lighter/heavier. Students will cover a design with pattern blocks and order numbers 20 and add 1 to a number.

Students will explore how materials change when heated or cooled.
Students will discuss different events that have happened through history and create a timeline of their own.
