Hands-on Space Science Training for Public Library Staff
Three workshops reached the following states and individuals: FL on 1/31-2/1/19: 37 participants AZ on 2/4-2/5/19: 38 participants KS on 2/26-2/27/19: 34 participants This effort is part of the SMD Science Activation program and the STAR Library Network-Collaborative Summer Library Program partnership. Workshop participants said: Participants trying the NASA activity, Strange New Planet. Credit: Lunar and Planetary Institute/Andy Shaner I loved the Strange New Planet activity. The critical thinking part was a lot of fun and almost video game like. I am leaving with a lot of new thing to take back to my library. It was very informative.
