1 Introduction to Chromebooks

2 What Is a Chromebook?!?! Still not sure? What does this mean for us as learners?

3 Chromebook Care Keep water bottles out of this room!
When not using your Chromebook, close it to save the battery. Carry the Chromebook closed and with two hands. Let’s watch a video that shows us. When unplugging  do so gently…they break easily.

4 Chromebook Care (2) At the end of class make sure to log off and then give your Chromebook to your Chromebook Manager. Do not drop; they will break easily. Do not put anything on top of the Chromebook, e.g., books, elbows, notebooks, etc. Make sure all of your “stuff” (binders, novels, sweaters, etc.) is on the floor when Chromebooks are out.

5 Chromebook Policies They must remain in the classroom.
They can NOT be taken home. They can NOT be taken to other rooms (unless directed by the teacher). Used for school work only. Go to teacher-approved web sites only. Only use the Chromebook that is assigned to you.
