Also known as sensory language. The suds in her hair tingled her scalp.

Her bangs were 10 feet tall.

6 Allusion A reference to something historical, famous, or well known to illustrate the author’s message. Allusions are often metaphors and similes, too. The shampoo store was a Garden of Eden for hair products.
