Maxim Vancompernolle, 11th grade, Trumpet (section leader) Why are you interested in serving on the LASSO board? Over the past 3 years I’ve had tremendous fun and satisfaction of helping with the band, bonding with the other parents, and watching our Marching Band perform up- close-and-personal. It is a great group (kids and parents) to be part of and I’d consider it an honor to serve in a leadership role. In previous years I had a very hands-on role and while I look forward to work one more year with the great group of wranglers, a board position would allow me to coordinate, plan and help prepare the activities of a variety of subcommittees. With my mix of hands-on experience and management skills I think I can be effective in this role. Professional background: Director of Product and Partner Relations with itineris. Educational background: Master of Science, Electronics Engineering, University of Ghent - Belgium Subcommittees will include: Wranglers, Chaperones, Field Lining, Uniforms, Health and Safety, Band Website and Social Media.
