How We Operate Membership organization 84 members, lots of growth in last 4 years Provide educational and networking opportunities Funders work at all scales around the country and some internationally Each funder comes to food system issues from a different perspective, with different boards, and history

Distributes more than 8.5 million meals from two warehouse locations in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria 102,000 unduplicated individuals served by member agencies Distributes food to over 300 social service programs and agencies Foodbank of Santa Barbara County
Funders as Partners Established relationship through on-going funding commitments Nurtured relationship & built trust by working together on strategic initiatives Supported Foodbank in its transition to more proactively addressing food insecurity Created even more alignment as partners Now open for new ideas, out-of-the-box thinking, and working together to sustain programs
