What is an animation…? An animations is the technique of photographing successive drawings to create an illusion of movement when the movie is shown as a sequence. Take a look at the red ball drawing to the left, if we were to “animate” the red circle it would give the appearance that it is bouncing.

What is an animation Animations can be short, like the ball bouncing on the slide before, or they can be the length of full length movies.

Creating a really good story
Most stories, movies and animations follow the same basic plot line. It is broken up into three distinct sections: Beginning, Middle, and End. Within each section there are certain aspects that are important to telling the story, let’s look at these a little closer.
7
The Beginning In the Beginning section the two important aspects are Exposition & Conflict Exposition is a literary device used to introduce background information about events, settings, characters etc. to the audience or readers In Exposition there are a couple more important elements Characters: the people in the story Setting: where the story takes place A Conflict is a literary element that involves a struggle between two opposing forces usually a protagonist and an antagonist.
8
The Middle In the Middle section the two important aspects are Rising Action & Climax Rising Action in a plot is a series of relevant incidents that create suspense, interest and tension in a narrative. Climax is that particular point in a narrative at which the conflict or tension hits the highest point.
9
The End In the End section the two important aspects are Falling Action & Resolution Falling Action occurs right after the climax, when the main problem of the story resolves. Besides, it wraps up the narrative, resolves its loose ends and leads towards the closure. The Resolution means the unfolding or solution of a complicated issue in a story.
