The Common Core Standards for Mathematics includes both grade specific content and K-12 shared practices
There are Domains for each grade level that are reported on over the year
Counting and Cardinality
Operations and Algebraic Thinking
Number and Operations in Base Ten
Measurement and Data
Geometry
Content and Practices are of equal importance
Content Standards include mathematical knowledge and skills students should learn
Practice Standards specify the mathematical ways of thinking students should develop while learning mathematics content
