Today we will take you on a journey to help make life more manageable 

4 1st IMPORTANT FACT You can encourage your body to relax on cue
A cue is something that reminds your body to relax. Like touching two fingers Crossing your fingers Tugging an earlobe Tapping your arm Or even imagining a perfect peaceful

5 Lets set your cue now We will try to see if it works: Take a moment to think of a cue. You are getting ready for a 100 question essay test. You think you have studied and prepared enough but you are feeling anxious and uncertain. What do you do? Close your eyes, take a deep breath, now use your cue, when you feel ready slowly open your eyes and start to work. Again if you feel panicky during the test take a moment out and revisit your cue. 2nd SET YOUR CUE

Gently hold your breath without effort…. 3. Breath out through the noise deflating your belly balloon…. 4. Gently hold your breath without effort…. For example, Astoria Oregon is a town on the Oregon coast well know for its starring role in the movie “The Goonies”. Today, we will take a trip from our school to Astoria through miles and time…

7 Brain Cleaning and Energizing Breath
With this technique, breath in imagining the air is going up into your brain. See all the dust that is clogging your thinking blowing around with the breath. Now breath out forcefully through the mouth imaging all the dust leaving your brain and body. Repeat until there's no more dust

8 Next, breath in deeply letting the fresh air energize your brain cells
Next, breath in deeply letting the fresh air energize your brain cells. Breath out gently feeling sharp and alert. Repeat the energizing breath as much as you like. You can attach a cue to this breath too! You can use this type of slide for text, images, shapes and tables to help add information in a different way. Duplicate this slide to add additional images of important location in your visit.

Tip 1. The first two weeks of classes, go through all of your syllabi and begin by making a monthly calendar of assignments and tests. Tip 2. Color code the classes for easier viewing. A. PSYH is in Green B. Math is in Purple
