Unit 3 Lesson 1

2 Article I Section 8 The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts, and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the Unites States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States. Congress can tax, defend the nation, and make taxes the same throughout the country.

8 Article III Section 1 The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. A judicial branch will have one Supreme Court and lower courts as created by Congress.

12 Article V The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution… Congress can change the Constitution with 2/3 vote in both Houses of Congress.
