Scope
Subcommittee 4 is responsible for writing and maintaining existing and proposed C63® standards for wireless and ISM devices.

Status of WG projects:
C – PINS approved 11/11/15 for 3rd Ed. and a draft is under development . Issues: video averaging; test reduction and reporting requirements; multi-carrier installations; testing of modular devices; inter-mod testing and limits; JTFs with C63.26 WG.

Status of WG projects:
C – 1st edition adopted 1/16/16 (not yet adopted by FCC); PINS for 2nd Ed. submitted 6/3/16 (expanded scope to cover recent FCC rulemaking (e.g., 5G proposal); radiated emission TG; JTG for mm wave with short and long term solutions being considered.
C x – PINS approved 5/7/15; a rough draft was circulated and comments discussed; a 2nd draft to be circulated early 2017; major issues include: use of van veen loop; equipment set-up, CISPR 11 and MP-5; agreed that the document would be self-contained.

Status of WG projects (continued):
C x – PINS approved 5/7/15; WG has 48 members; typically 2 conference calls per month; extensive testing under way; initial draft 85% complete; comparison testing for use of van veen loop under way; extrapolation data is being developed; in-situ testing will be included; document to be self-contained.
C x – PINS approved 5/7/15; draft circulated using MP-5 as a starting point; comparison of MP-5 and CISPR 11 discussed; agreed that standard will be self-contained; test site and in-situ testing will be included; new draft to be circulated in January 2017.
