1. Autumn One: Once Upon a Book Nursery Autumn Term One Overview
Welcome to a brand new academic year full of inspirational experiences. The year will begin with one of our favourite books Titch, a young boy who shares some of his experiences with us through the text. Through different areas of learning, children will have opportunities to talk about themselves using the text as a model. This will develop their confidence in speaking about themselves to others and help them to feel comfortable in their new environment. It will also allow us to get to know the children and for them to get to know one another.

Over the year, children will explore maths around them using physical objects and by playing interactive games. Everyday they will sing songs and rhymes to help them learn the days of the week and the months of the year.
