Size of images—The larger the image, the longer it takes the page to load. You can compress an image using PaintShopPro
Types of scripts that you choose to run
Dynamic drive has MANY scripts, but always take the time to check the number of seconds a page takes to download
You should aim for 30 seconds or less for a download time

7. Weight of a Page on the Web
The weight of the page is the web page document’s estimated download time and the file size

8. Font Size and Color Combinations
The best size for a font on the WWW is 14 points
The best color combination is
BLACK TEXT ON A WHITE BACKGROUND

9. Document Links— The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly!
Document-relative hyperlink to a web page document that no longer exists is called a BROKEN LINK
Broken links affect the navigation structure of the website
A page that has no links to it in the entire site is called an ORPHANED LINK
