2. In order to make a formal command, you use the yo present tense form and you switch the ending. Verbs that end in –ar use –er/-ir endings and verbs that end –er/-ir use –ar endings.

Note that Ud. and Uds. command forms are formed in much the same way as
negative tú commands.

3. These verbs have irregular formal command forms.

4. In affirmative commands, all object and reflexive pronouns are attached to the end of the verb. An accent mark is added to maintain the original stress in the verb.
Levántense, por favor.
Get up, please.
Dígame la verdad.
Tell me the truth.

5. In negative commands, object and reflexive pronouns precede the verb.
No se levanten.
Don’t get up.
No me diga la verdad.
Don’t tell me the truth.
