2 Terms Ureter: tubes that connect the kidney to the bladder
Urinary bladder: holds urine

3 Testicle: male sex glands that produce sperm
Epididymis: comma shaped structure located on each (above) testicle; stores sperm

4 Scrotum: sac that holds the testes and regulates the temperature of the testes.
Cowper’s gland: 2 small glands in the male that discharge seminal fluid during ejaculation (also adds fluid to semen)

5 Vas deferens: 1 of 2 tubes that conduct sperm from the testicles toward the penis
Seminal vesicle: 2 small glands that secrete a fluid that nourishes and enables sperm to move

6 Prostate gland: surrounds the urethra, located beneath the bladder, adds fluid to semen
Urethra: bring urine and semen out of the male

7 Penis: male sex organ Foreskin: skin on the tip of the penis – commonly removed at birth (circumcision)

8 Pubic bone: protects internal reproductive organs
Rectum: entry to colon; exit for feces
