What are the elements a drama? Shakespearean tragedy? What effect do these elements have on the plot?

3 Act II Reading: You will choose your reading part for Act II and read aloud. Answer the Act questions as we read. There is an online version of the play that shows the modern translation of the play next to the Shakespearean version. It can be found here: /romeojuliet/ Act II Viewing: After reading Act II, we will watch the 1968 version of the play. Monday 12/10/2018

Recreating Romeo and Juliet: You will choose a group to perform a Romeo and Juliet Scene with. You will be required to write a script and use props. You may use any of the materials in the classroom to create your props, or use your own. EVERYONE IN THE GROUP MUST HAVE SPEAKING PARTS! See rubric for more details *One-on-one follow-up conferences will be happening during this time also.* Friday 12/14/2018 MAKE SURE YOUR WARM-UP NOTEBOOKS ARE IN THE CRATE SO THAT THEY CAN BE GRADED!
