Profiles: interactive one page overview of the latest data from key indicators per subject area and country or region 
Table builder: display and download of (complex) open datasets based on a customizable, dynamic, interactive, multi-dimensional table view
The planned "Cities' and Regions' Profiles" site should use these components as major building blocks. 

14. Texts
In the case of cities, the texts used in the "Urban Audit Key indicators on living conditions in European cities" publication will be used.
In the case of regions, the texts need to be created.
We are asking all National Statistical Institutes to provide these short texts on NUTS 2 regions.
It is possible to use texts from existing publications or text from the Portrait of the Regions website as input. Templates and examples will be provided by Eurostat.
Preparation of the profiles is not possible without the co-operation of the national statistical offices!

15. Maps
The possibility of including statistical maps at sub-city district level will be investigated.
City maps which can be disseminated free of charge as image files are needed.
The national statistical offices will be asked to sign a declaration which clarifies whether or not the dissemination of maps is permitted according to the technical specifications in the declaration.
