Tonight’s Tasks Please sign the attendance roster Distribute class schedules Distribute progress reports School Counselors are stationed in the mall area if you would like to request a parent-teacher conference Principal located in cafeteria if you have concerns or questions Welcome to Homeroom! Thanks for coming tonight! We hope you enjoy learning more about THS and what your children experience on a daily basis.

I am going to give each of you a note card. Please write your child’s name on the card and list what you believe are his/her greatest strengths and weaknesses. Then write one question you would like to ask me.

You will receive the same text reminders as your child. I also use Google Classroom to post announcements and documents. Your child should have signed up the first day but if he/she needs the code he/she can see me.

first High Expectations and Belief that ALL students can learn science. second Expect students to turn in all unit work by test day but work with students who are struggling. I encourage students and parents to visit Power School frequently. We have lots of grades and students need to check missing assignments. I sometimes give students lists of missing items. last Provide opportunities for students to turn assignments back in corrected and for test corrections.

fourth I work with students after school frequently. Wed I have afternoon hall duty but I am available on most other days. fifth I work with students who cannot make afternoon tutoring in the morning but have morning duty on Monday. sixth We have lots of grades so checking Power School frequently is encouraged to see missing work.
