3. Introduction
Measurement Solutions (MS) is the R&D unit of the KEBS Metrology Department. It’s objectives are:
Find measurement solutions to industry.
Provide sector specific calibration trainings.
Improve internal KEBS processes with regard to accuracy, automation etc

4. Sector specific calibration training
Customizes the training to address the specific needs of the sector in terms of:
Equipment
Personnel
Procedures
Traceability

8. Outcomes of Sector specific training.
Trained over 150 biomedical engineers.
Higher awareness about calibration.
Increased uptake of calibration services.
Increased budget allocation for services
Two national hospitals starting internal calibration systems.
National public health laboratories starting a shared calibration laboratory.
Higher engagement by MOH with a view to start county shared facilities.
