4. Step 2- Value of “Xenia”
One value in ancient Greek culture was the practice of xenia
This custom called for treating all visitors, even complete strangers, with hospitality. Specifically, this meant asking no questions of your guests, and providing guests with food and refreshments, clean clothes, a clean place to sleep, etc.
On your note sheet, respond to the questions below:
What does the practice of “xenia” tell you about Greek culture? What could be some benefits and/or drawbacks of this practice?

5. Step 3- Greek Gods and Goddesses
Do some research on one of the following Greek gods/goddess: Poseidon, Zeus, or Athena
Then, write an Epic/Homeric Simile (a simile that extends across several lines) to describe this god/goddess.
