Organize Team for Production Demonstration Production: ½ hour to Set Up, up to 1 hour for Demo Must use at least 5 machines Lab Safety: Personnel, Equipment, Fixtures, Tools, Materials Operations: Op. Safety, Quality, Optimization Assembly: Fit, Function, Finish Equipment: SOPs, Homing, Select Tool, Touch-Off, 5S Timing & Bonuses: Demonstration of IE EM skills, tools, & methods Documentation: Materials Listing* (BOM & dimensions, at least two days before) Tooling Listing (tools required for your production) Program Listing (electronic in folder, NOT hardcopy) Work Instructions (process plan for setups, programs, timing) Routing with Illustration of each piece – may be one or more pages 4/8/2019 IENG 475: Computer-Controlled Manufacturing Systems
