22 Thrifty Thursday A carpenter needs to purchase materials to make a tabletop (he already has the legs for the table) and some fabric to serve as a hanging/draping tablecloth. The table top is 12 feet long by 4 feet wide. The plywood material for the tabletop costs $20 for an 8x4 sheet. The fabric is $5 a yard and the fabric is 3 feet wide. Below explain how much the carpenter needs to spend on each item and why.

26 Thrifty Thursday If a candy bar costs $.56 to purchase, what would you charge per bar, and how many bars should you sell if you want to make a $150 profit.

27 Figure it out Friday How would you go about creating a brick wall on a flat piece of plywood? List the steps and the supplies you’d need.

28 Management Monday Transfer these stage directions into blocking notes and imagine them happening? What is the story being told? Old man sits on a bench center stage. Young man enters downstage left and crosses to the bench and sits to the old man’s right. The old man leans over and looks at the young man’s screen, and gets up shocked and exits stage right.

32 Figure it out Friday You are arranging the flowers in a planting box on stage. You need 8 rows of four different colors: Red, Yellow, Purple, and Blue. Red can be next to next to yellow, but can’t be next to purple or blue. The purple flowers can only be next to yellow flowers. Only two rows of each flower color can be placed.
