DRESS IN LAYERS: The weather changes every day and the classrooms in the school are different temperatures. Students should have sweatshirt or a light jacket for indoors. Students need a hat, gloves, and a winter jacket for recess. The wind is strong on the playground. Snow pants and boots will be needed when there is snow on the ground. 14

2nd Grade Information
CLASS CHRISTMAS PARTY: The class Christmas party will be on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 1:00. If you would like to help: plan the party/plan a game/bring treat bags/provide meat-cheese-crackers/or another type of food, please let the classroom teacher know.
SNOW PANTS AND BOOTS: If some students are getting a new pair of snow pants and boots for Christmas, they are welcome to leave an extra pair here at school. Otherwise, a large fabric bag works great to carry snow pants and boots to and from home.
SMALL BOX: Please send in a small box (Shoe box size or a bit smaller) to bring the ornaments home in the week of Dec. 17th.
GARLAND: If you are buying garland, please send it in ASAP so we can get our amazing wreathes made.
AR TREATS: If you would like to donate AR treats that would be wonderful. Please be sure the treat are individually wrapped. Students receive a treat with a passing score of 80 or more. (We read and test whether we have treats or not.) Thank you!!
DEC. 10-MONDAY …We will be making ornaments and art projects this day. Mrs. Sween and Diane Benson will be coming in to help us create our masterpieces.
