2 What is Pinnacle? The Pinnacle Internet Viewer (PIV) is a web site that allows you to access your student's records at once. You can use the PIV to review attendance information, check overall academic status, and see detailed grade information for specific classes in which your student is enrolled.

3 Accessing the PIV website:
You can go to the school’s website, you will be able to find the link there in the "Parents" and “Students” drop down sections.

4 Logging in to the PIV: User Name: Student’s Example: Password: Student’s DOB: PMM/DD/YYYY

5 Viewing general reports:
● "Attendance Summary” - Click this report to see your student's schedule and any reported absences or tardies. ● "Grade Summary" - Click this report to see your student's grades for each grading period, semester exams (if applicable), semester averages, and course average. ● "Teacher " - Click here to get links to staff s for those who have provided them.

6 Viewing class reports:
"Student Missing Assignments" - This displays any missing assignments for the selected class. "Student Assignments" - This displays a detailed listing of all the assignments and grades for the selected class. Viewing class reports:

7 Accessing Class Reports:
In the "Class" drop-down menu, pick the subject you want. This will give you a detailed report of all assignments for the subject.

8 Using the Email Notification System (ENS)
1. On the bottom left side of the PIV screen, under "Options", click " Notification" 2. Type in your address in the box labeled "Enter your address here". NOTE: Please type your address very carefully to avoid any problems or delays. 3. Next click the button labeled "Sign In". 4. Now you will go to the Report Selection screen where you can choose the reports you wish to have ed to you. 5. First fill in your name as you wish it to appear in the box labeled "Enter your name".

9 Options for Email Notices:
a. Check the box labeled "Automatic Unexcused Absence Notification" to be sent an any time your student has an unexcused absence. b. Check the box labeled "Attendance Summary" to get an attendance report ed to you. You must also choose how often the report is to be sent by selecting that from the drop-down box on the right. c. Check the box labeled "Student Assignments" to get a detailed report including grades for all assignments in all classes and what assignments are missing. You must also choose how often the report is to be sent by selecting that from the drop-down box on the right. d. Check the box labeled "Grade Summary" to get a simple report with just the current letter grade for each class. You must also choose how often the report is to be sent by selecting that from the drop-down box on the right.

6. When done with your selections, click the button labeled "Submit Notification Request". 7. You will now go to the " Report Selection Results" page where you will see a confirmation of all the reports you have requested.
