10. Night and The Last Days
Next block we will be watching a documentary called The Last Days.
The film tells the stories of five Hungarian Jews during the Shoah (Hebrew for catastrophe, another term for the Holocaust).
It focuses on the horrors of life in the Nazi concentration camps, but also stresses the optimism and desire to survive of the survivors.
The film won an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
Begin the chart that you will be completing during the documentary by filling out the section on Elie Wiesel.
Do not lose this chart, you will not get another at the beginning of the documentary!
