You simply login into ptk.org, up top select scholarships, then scroll down to select a degree, and start the application. Remember to save as you go so you can always stop and come back. International: When you log into the application, you will notice that based on how you answer the first page, the site will show you what scholarships you qualify for. This is so you do not waste your time filling out scholarships that you will not get because you do not meet the qualifications for them. There are scholarships for Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees. Also, there is more than $37 million available for transfers. Listed here are just a few of the scholarships offered. There are many more. And keep your eye out for the ones that open in the spring. Deadline for Fall Application is November 15th. Pay attention to other scholarship deadlines in early November. Regional: We have two scholarship opportunities at the Regional Level. Both scholarships have a purpose of helping provide financial resources to active Phi Theta Kappa members in order to help defray educational expenses for the Academic Year while enrolled at a two-year institution. The “Papa” John Sharpe Scholarship is geared more towards active Phi Theta Kappa members who have demonstrated scholarly fellowship on campus and/or in the community. The “Papa” John Sharpe Scholarship covers registration costs for regional events. Whereas the Joan Keller Scholarship is geared towards those who have demonstrated servant leadership on campus and/or in the community. And, the Joan Keller Scholarship is $500 cash handed to the receiptent. Who does not want money??? Apply for these scholarships! I finally did and received a Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholarship of $1000. Every little bit helps.
